All Natural, Organic Deodorant

Nobody can question the vastness and perfection of nature. Nature works in such a way, that it really takes care of everything. The creation works because if these unwritten laws, and through that, it is sustained.

With our bodies too. When we are cold, our body-hair stands up in order to catch heat and insulate the body. And when we are hot, we sweat. Sweating is like the body's natural air conditioning. It uses water to cool down the body.

Unfortunately, deodorants these days intervene with this system.
Antiperspirants clog up the pores so that one does not sweat anymore. Alcohol, Aluminum, and fragrance among other ingredients are added to kill bacteria and add a "nice" smell to your body. I don't want to go into detail about the tremendous health hazard this brings to people, because it's really not that difficult to figure it out. Just remember, whatever you put on your skin, gets absorbed.

Now, the good news is that there are many alternatives!!! Did you know that your body's natural smell is really not that bad?? Especially if you follow a healthy and nutritious vegetarian diet, avoiding strong spices and garlic, and use natural soap to wash with. And if you're not convinced, then I got an amazing recipe for natural deodorant right here.

This "deo" is made of all organic ingredients, and becomes a paste-like texture. You just take a dab of it, and apply it to your underarms. I can guarantee you that it's very effective throughout the whole day!!! You can choose your own scent of essential oils to suit your taste- my favorite is lavender.

Baking Soda helps to fight bacteria and keeps your underarms odor free.
Arrowroot powder absorbs the sweat to some extent so you can avoid marks on your clothes.
Coconut oil is highly anti bacterial, and the essential oils add a fragrance to it as well as other properties depending on which one you choose.

Personally, I will never go back to common deodorants. It's been 1.5 years already that I'm off that rubbish. This recipe works amazing for me, and I hope you will benefit from it too. Try it out and let me know how you find it!
